Our Type of Shipping in the Shopping Cart - Please read

We have items at our location and we use vendors. The reason it states "Shipping Time of 2-15 Business days" is we cannot conform the settings to each specific vendor. Each vendor is quite different in their shipping and processing times. Allow for processing time, that is not included in the shipping (transit) time.

Example: If you ordered from our brand name collection, and you happened to see a shipping time of 2-15 business days in the cart as you were checking out, it doesn't mean it will take that long to reach your location. If you ordered a brand name item, after the processing time, it will take only 2-5 business days to reach your location.

If you ordered a product that is 5 to 10 business days, after processing it will reach your location within 5 to 10 business days.

We have tried to conform the platform to specific shipping times for each vendor, but it does not and will not conform correctly. So we created a specific shipping option that includes all of them, but we had to state 2 to 10 business days due to all of them being in one category.

Animals do feel pain like us humans do. Most people do not realize that testing of products are still being done, they just don't talk about it anymore.

IF we find out that one of those sweet fur babies are being subject to one of our vendors products we will terminate them. The only item we might have is leather, at times, (very rarely) but if we find out that the animal was not first used for food, we will delete the vendor.

No animal should be killed for just their hide or fur. As for now, we only have Faux fur meaning it is not real fur, and PU leather meaning it is not real animal hide.

We will only sell products that are cruelty free.

Our Customer Service

Our Customer service is unbeatable. If there is an issue and it's our fault, we refund the item and the shipping costs.

Once we receive your message (After the auto response) we engage at a personal level to meet each individual need.

Our Clothing Inventory fits, looks like the pictures, and of superb quality.

We have a return window that is a tad bit longer than other small businesses. We now can offer prepaid shipping labels to send back your returns! Furniture will not be included in this option, there are a few areas needing to be met within the furniture collection pertaining to the return process.

We ask you to please message us if you have a problem with one of our products, before leaving a negative review. We will work with you never against you.

Just a quick note: Our online store is open 24 hours a day, just as any other online store; however our customer service is not open 24 hours a day. If we are not online please send us an email, we will respond as soon as we can.

Delivery Transit Times

We are upfront with our Transit times:

Instant: This falls into the digital download area. Once you purchase a digital item it will delivered once you pay for the download. This item will not be sent to you in the mail, it will be a instant download to your device.


2-5 Business Days: Items in the USA, created in the United States, and/or at our location are in this category. These are being shipped by USPS, USPS, FedEx, UPS, depending on the vendors shipping policies. These could also be items that are being handmade, personalized and could be sent with a different type of shipping method, not necessarily always an international product.


5-10 Business Days: These are being shipped by USPS, USPS, FedEx, UPS, or USPS International, depending on the vendors shipping policies, and if the item could be out of stock in the USA, and/or could be needing to be reproduced. These could also be items that are being handmade, personalized and could be sent with a different type of shipping method, not necessarily always an international product.

Processing times:

Instant: Digital downloads fall into this category. Unless it is a personalized file that you asked us to create, then the processing time will be longer.

3-5 Business days for most items, depending on certain instances the processing times will be closer to the 5 days. if there would be an occurrence of a longer processing time we will let you know. Please note that handmade and personalized products will have a longer processing time. We do have a vendor that will send the item to us first, then we send it to you, this creates a longer processing time. (For more info on this see Transit times)

Holidays & Weekends:

USA Holidays: Major holidays to which the postal service and vendors shut down will affect transit and processing times.

Weekends: Items are not processed or shipped over a weekend. If you order a item on a Friday, after 12PM an order usually does not start to process until the following Monday.

Returns:

Please do not send an item back to the address on your package. Send the item back to us at Bay Gift Shop, P.O. Box 65, Meyersdale, PA 15552-0065.

We prefer a text message so we can message you back as soon as we see it, we can’t always answer a phone call. This is our second line so please allow at least 8-12 hours before we see this text message on days that we are not at our home location. When contacting us please tell us that you are a customer of Bay Gift Shop then your order number, then your question. (There are just too many spam texts and calls this day and age.) PLEASE TEXT US BEFORE CALLING US.

Refunds & Returns:

At times items can be sold out extremely fast. If this happens, no worries, we will contact you and refund you fully for your purchase. Rarely, items could be defective, please contact us immediately if this occurs. We will ask for the item back, unless it was something of little value (example: something that was bought for under $5, we also do not accept intimate personal items back. We do require a photo of the defect so we can document the issue. It is not that we don't believe you. If we used a vendor for the product they will need to document the problem too.) We will refund you fully once the item is returned to us. We care about you and we care about the products we are selling you. Some items are not refundable, please note in our policies. (Example: Digital downloads)

Beautiful Furnishings is unable to ship to the following locations: Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. This is a vendor we started using for furniture, other vendors will ship to these locations.

UPDATE: We now add a pre-paid label for return shipping; excluded is the vendor Beautiful Furnishings and international customers. Beautiful furnishings returns must be paid by the customer. (This is the only vendor we have like this as of right now.)

We accept payments through Shop pay, many credit and debit card companies, other forms are at the bottom of our site footer. If a customer would like to suggest a way to pay let us know, we will research it. PayPal is now accepted.

Please allow processing time for orders (Usually processing times can be anywhere between 3 to 7 business days, depending on the item, if they are making the item or if it was stored in a warehouse, the warehouse location, how fast your payment processes, and other factors.); delivery times for domestic USA orders are 2-15 business days, depending on your location it can take up to 15 business days, we are not in control of the US Postal Service, these are estimated times. Handmade items and international items will have a longer processing time and delivery time. We ship only domestic (for now). Most all of our items are shipped from within USA, with tracking. 

Returns up to 30 days for domestic (USA) customers. There are certain items that are not available for returns. Certain restrictions required. International customers; all sales are final. For Bay Gift Shop exclusives, these items are sent directly from our location in Meyersdale, PA, with these and all items, payment must clear first before we send your items. We then take one day to pack your items, we send your items via USPS or UPS. We have a remarkable shipping time, with tracking for all of our Bay Gift Shop exclusives products, this does not include vendor items. 

Please return item to: (DO NOT RETURN TO ADDRESS ON YOUR LABEL; please contact us due to having one vendor that will not pay for return shipping, which is beautiful furnishings, due to being large items they will have you send it directly to them.)

For Digital downloads (files); no returns, no refunds, all sales are final. However, we will correct an error if something was created wrong within the digital download that you purchased. We are online located within the United States with the hope of opening our brick n' mortar store soon.

The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.
  • The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.
  • Digital downloads.

International items will state "International Collection" or "International Product" within the description. When it says "imported" it is NOT an international item, unless it states international collection within the description. We are very upfront and clear.

Beautiful Furnishings is unable to ship to the following locations: Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. This is a vendor we started using for furniture, other vendors will ship to these locations. Returns for this vendor is the customers responsibility.

DO NOT RETURN "FURNITURE" TO BAY GIFT SHOP; WE WILL SEND YOU INFORMATION ON HOW TO RETURN YOUR FURITURE TO BEAUTIFUL FURNISHINGS IF YOU ARE NOT SATIFIED WITH THEIR ITEMS.
